Service Description

resovale provides AI-powered audio enhancement and editing features, including echo removal, loudness balancing, Mandarin Chinese transcription and audio navigation, AI-assisted editing drafts, whole-episode comparison, and multi-track synchronization. The first native macOS release supports transcript recognition for Mandarin Chinese recordings only.

Features may change as the product evolves.

User Content

You retain ownership of all files and content processed through resovale.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use, edit, and process your content.

Local Storage

resovale follows a local-first approach.

Your files and project data may be stored locally on your device.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of important files.

Models and Open-source Components

Mandarin Chinese transcription and echo removal use pinned model and open-source runtime versions. These files are installed with the macOS app and do not require a separate first-use download from a third party or resovale server.

Local model processing does not upload audio. Third-party open-source projects remain the property of their respective rights holders and are governed by the source notices and open-source licenses distributed with the app.

External AI Assistants

You may choose to connect the current project to Codex, ChatGPT Desktop, WorkBuddy, or Claude Code. Only after you make a request may the selected assistant use restricted tools to read transcript excerpts and timeline metadata needed for the task, or perform explicit, reversible edits.

These assistants are provided by third parties and are subject to their own terms, privacy practices, and account settings. resovale does not receive the assistant’s API key, and audio preview or analysis may provide audio excerpts. You should confirm that the selected assistant is appropriate for the content before sending a request.

Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for losses caused by misuse, device failures, data loss, network interruptions, system limitations, or local-environment issues.
